Williams has rolled out in Singapore the special Gulf Oil livery chosen by its fans that will adorn its cars in the next three races starting this weekend at Marina Bay.

Last May, Williams and sponsor Gulf Oil offered its worldwide supporters a chance to choose between four liveries inspired by Gulf’s iconic powder-blue and orange colors.

In the end, Williams’ fans favoured the ‘Bolder than Bold’ titled scheme with a massive 180,000 votes.

Williams team principal James Vowles said the livery would be a “defining moment” for his team.

“This competition was an incredible opportunity for our fans to actively engage and shape the visual identity of our team,” Vowles said.

“The winning design encapsulates the essence of the Gulf and Williams Racing partnership, reflecting on the past but building on our future.”
