Last Saturday, on the eve of the Austrian Grand Prix, Haas chargers Nico Hulkenberg and Kevin Magnussen traded barbs as they watched their respective countries fight each other in the UEFA Euro football tournament.
Germany’s dominant 2-0 victory of Denmark delighted the Hulk but surely riled Magnussen, boosting both drivers’ competitive spirit which they put to good use the following day as they delivered to Haas its best aggregate result since Austria in 2022.
Clearly, Haas needs more Saturday night football and friendly rivalry!
